I have played countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of funds at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
